GY6 50cc 4-Stroke (139QMB)  Performance Parts

 This horizontal single cylinder, four stroke, forced air cooled engine has a CTV automatic transmission and is used on many scooters, ATVs, buggies, go karts and mopeds. This engine has a displacement of 49.6cc, a bore size of 39mm and a stroke of 41.5mm .   • This is a 6-pin DC Racing Performance CDI with an Unrestricted Rev Limit and an advanced timing curve for the GY6 50cc 125cc and 150cc engines. Engine applications include the 139QMB, 139QMA  152QMI, 152QMJ, 157QMI, and 157QMJ.  These CDI's have no governor and eliminate that irritating rev-limiter which might be keeping your engine speed restricted. 
  • For this CDI your engine must have a 3-phase type generator and regulator/rectifier. This CDI has the rounded-style plug receiver. CDI Size: 3" x 1 5/8" x 15/16". 
  • This CDI is found on the Baja SC50 Sun City, Carter Brothers Interceptor GTR 250 with the SYM 250,  Diamo Velocity, Eton sport 50, JCL MP-150, Lance GSR 150, Schwinn, SYM sport 50, SYM VS125, Tomos Nitro 50, Vento Triton, VMOTO Monaco 125cc and other Korean, Chinese and Taiwanese scooters.and many others. Compatibility, however, is based on matching wiring and connectors. Please ensure your make and model have the same connector and number of pins prior to ordering.
  • Mechanics Note: According to the experts, there is only one true way to know whether you have an AC or DC system. First, be sure your battery is fully charged and your fuse is good. Second, turn the key on, but DO NOT start your engine.  Using this CDI pin configuration:

    with a voltage tester and leaving everything hooked up normal, go in through the top, through the wires until you have contact, check the #6 pin to see if it has 12v present?  Your system is DC  if you have 12V.  If not voltage then it is an AC system.
